Joining Calne Lions gives you the opportunity to volunteer both locally and internationally, make new friends and network. You could work on projects to make our community a better place to live, as part of a team or even the project lead. You can serve the community and have fun doing it.
Some of our members have served for over 25 years, others for only a few months, however everyone is welcomed into the Calne Lions family and all contributions are equally valued.
We have fun along the way, with lots of different social events. In the last year we have gone on trips to Cadbury World, the Legends Festival at Lydiard Park and the Firework Champions at Badminton. We have taken part in local pub quizzes and organised a board game evening. In addition to this we have annual President’s Handover celebrations (this year’s had an 80s theme) and our black-tie Charter Party (essentially the Club’s birthday party).
