In February 2026, Derry Hill Primary School reached out to Calne Lions to ask if we would be willing to help towards the funding of their Year 6 residential.
The Club were pleased to donate £240 towards the trip, that took place recently in Devon.
A representative from the school was quoted as saying,
“Thank you so much to you and the club for agreeing the funding for our children, it is so kind and generous and will make such a big difference to the children who will benefit greatly from their time on the residential trip.”
The school has sent some photos from the trip, which shows the children having a fantastic time taking part in a variety of exciting activities.
