Calne Lions is made up of over 30 volunteers. The Club is led by our Lion President & Vice President, who are voted in each year.
There are also various sub committees within Calne Lions, which our members can join. These committees are responsible for the all the different aspects of Club life –
• Secretary keeps on top of admin and meeting minutes.
• Treasurer oversees the Club’s accounts.
• Community Support & Initiatives deal with any requests for help that are received and also spearhead new community initiatives, like our prostate screening events.
• Duck Race & Santa. These 2 separate committees meet throughout the year to organise our main events.
• Burger Van organises the Burger Van bookings, volunteer rota, shopping and upkeep.
• Membership engages with the public to bring in new members and also look out for the welfare of existing Club Members.
• Social are responsible for planning and organising group nights out, trips and Charter.
• Media & Communications oversee all things to do with the Club’s technical output, website, Facebook & Instagram and Public Relations.
