We are already actively planning our 2020 Santa activities, taking into account guidance and advice in relation to the ongoing Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.

Our Santa Sleigh: bringing Christmas to the streets of Calne

Painting Santa's sleigh

Lions painting Santa’s Sleigh ready for December 2019

Our Santa sleigh comes to the streets of Calne every December, playing music and bringing festive cheer wherever it goes! Look out for the sleigh and please give generously to our collectors as they come by.

Our work helps a huge number of people and services in the local area.

We are out most weeknights and Saturdays in December in the run up to Christmas.  We meet at 5:45pm in the Church Street car park (vehicle access via Carnegie Mews on the A4, postcode SN11 0EN) and set off by 6:00pm, returning usually just after 8:00pm.

We would love you to come and join us collecting with Santa

If you would like to help with the Santa collections please let us know, we would be incredibly grateful for your support!  Please note that under 18’s, who are legally not able to carry their own collection bucket, will unfortunately not be able to come out collecting this year as we need to reduce the number of people accompanying the Santa Sleigh to avoid any unnecessary risk.

To register and volunteer as a collector please go to our Santa Diary using the following link.  For safety reasons spaces are limited to 12 collectors a night, so please click on the white X to the right of your name within the calendar to remove yourself if you are no longer able to go out on any particular night.

See you soon, and Merry Christmas!
