From £0.00

Entry into either our Business Duck Race or Ducklings’ Race is free for registered charities*, all we ask is, if this is your first entry into one of our races, or you have entered previously but require a new duck, you cover the £6 surcharge for the duck.

To enter either the Business Duck Race or the Ducklings’ Race as a registered charity please complete the online order form. You will be e-mailed a receipt for your records, and if this is either the first time you have entered the Business Duck Race or you have entered previously and asked for a replacement duck then your duck will be delivered in due course.

*Please note: one free entry per charity. Additional ducks can be entered into either the Business Duck Race or the Ducklings’ Race at the normal entry fee.

By purchasing entries for the Calne Lions Duck Race, you are agreeing to the Duck Race Terms and Conditions.

If you have any other queries about Duck Race please visit our Duck Race FAQ’s page or contact us.

Duck Drop-off and Collection

Ducks need to be brought to the start line on the morning of the race by 10am, ready for sorting into heats. Whilst we hope that businesses and organisations will be present on Duck Race Day to drop off their duck, we appreciate this may not be possible. If you need to drop your duck off early, please get in touch once you have purchased a race entry.

Ducks should be collected from the finish line (by Marden House) after the Business Duck Race Final. Once again, whilst we hope that businesses and organisations will be present on the Duck Race Day to collect their duck, we appreciate this is not always possible. Any uncollected ducks will be taken back by a member of Calne Lions for safekeeping.

The owners of unclaimed ducks will be contacted on the Sunday after Duck Race with collection details. Any ducks not collected after a week will be delivered back to their owners, however there will be a £5 surcharge, payable at the time of delivery.

Calne Lions have taken the decision to charge for late Duck returns because in previous years we have been left with many ducks to store for, in some cases, in excess of a month.
